Bio

Ashton Slater is a guitarist, vocalist, and producer born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blending many of the Americana styles of music with an improvisational, psychedelic jam twist. He takes great influence from the Grateful Dead and jam band world to create his own approach to the music.

For 2 years Ashton exclusively studied Hindustani traditional music on Sarod under Paul Livingstone. Over the years he has become a cornerstone in the Grateful Dead community in Los Angeles, curating countless events for the people.

He mixes a variety of sounds and styles ranging from Rock, Funk, Soul, and Jazz, traveling through the cosmos of these various vibrations, weaving a psychedelic thread that brings listeners on a sonic adventure.
